Working with architects Holland Harvey, we applied a lot of processes to fulfil this complex brief. The gym attracts members who want to train hard, enjoy the community and hang out in a stylish, contemporary environment. We created a high-end experience that begins with the reception area and flows through the whole building, right into the changing rooms.
For the entrance, we made a five-metre stretch of concrete, then designed a debossing technique that delivered an impactful brand identity in 3D. Other lettering was cut on a CNC machine, given a fibreglass coating to make it impermeable and reusable, while the curved reception desk incorporated brass inlays.
We also installed a smoothie counter (a must-have for any serious gym bunny), and several washing facilities. The result – a place that inspires strength and fitness, where clients want to belong.
