Quotes are often priced according to customer dimensions. However, if the area has been miscalculated the price may change when the templating stage occurs.

Lead time – as all of our products are made from scratch, we aim to work towards a lead time of 3-4 weeks, from paid deposit to installation stage. We must make you aware that lead times may vary at busy times or if there have been changes made at the templating/design stage. You will be made aware of the lead time once templating and designs have been finalised, and deposits have been taken.

Slight colour variations should be expected with concrete, temperature and even the size of the piece will have an impact on appearance but this is part of the appeal of concrete.

Terms of payment – we ask for 50% to secure your booking and start work on your project – the final 50% after delivery and installation has taken place. Once receipt of invoice, our payment terms state for the outstanding balance to be paid within 5 working days. For orders below £1,500.00 we will ask for the full amount to start work on your project. 

Templating – if we come out and template up for our concrete, the first 50% deposit of the full balance due, must be paid before this service can commence. However, should the concrete not be fully installed, 10% of the deposit will be kept by Kelham Island Concrete. Templating is free if you are within a 20 mile radius of KIC Headquarters, however if you are outside of this perimeter, this cost will be calculated depending on the product ordered and labour costs for templating.

Force Majeure: delivery times are subject to change due to force-majeure, i.e. Government restrictions, adverse weather conditions, border restrictions affecting supplies, etc. In such a case we will notify you as soon as we know about such disruptions to coordinate a revised delivery date.

Delivery – the customer agrees to be ready to receive the goods within 7 days from the agreed delivery date. Any late delivery due to the site not being ready, may be subject to a 10% late installation/delivery fee – circumstance dependent . Our delivery charges are calculated on where you are within the UK. We can deliver outside of the UK, however we would need to include travel, accommodation and welfare costs of our team, in order to make this happen.

Liability is limited to the value of the goods. KIC will not be liable to any consequential damages, including any effect on the delivery site to the Customer or any third party.

This quotation is valid for 30 days. Once past this date, a new quotation will need to be made.

Payment – we only accept the following form of payment: bank transfer through BACS. Our bank details are provided on our invoices.

Since all of our items are custom made, no cancellation after manufacturing has begun is possible. If cancellation occurs, deposits will be kept to cover costs of the work done.

Kelham Island Concrete Limited will guarantee the goods for a period of 12 months, so long as they have been installed and treated in line with our Care and Installation Instructions.

This product has been professionally sealed with high quality sealer as part of the manufacturing process. The integrity of the sealer is contingent on proper care, in line with our Care and Installation Instructions. 

All work carried out by Kelham Island Concrete is at our discretion. We have the right to refuse work should we feel suitable.

Costs may be affected by different levels of complexity, this will be discussed with you at quotation time.
